American Furniture Warehouse Ordering Policies

After deciding to order the following policies apply. Broyhill Furniture has a very strict Internet policy that does not allow us to e-mail certain information. Always include your fax number, telephone number, or mailing address on all correspondences.

Orders under $1500 and all upholstery orders must be paid in full at time of order. Payment (50% deposit required with order over $1500) may be made with check or money order. We have a minimum order of $1000 or there is a $50 handling charge. We will call you for your balance when the merchandise is in our warehouse ready to be delivered. Balances must be mailed within 48 hours of our notification that merchandise is in. Personal checks are accepted for balances but 10 business days are allowed for check to clear. We prefer certified funds for balances. We do not accept any type of credit card due to the high transaction fees. We do not collect sales tax on any orders shipped outside of North Carolina.

Orders usually take 4 to 10 weeks. We do not check status during that time but if your order should exceed 10 weeks please let us know so we can check with the manufacturer and give you an update.

Our in home delivery service will call you to schedule delivery to your home usually within 2 weeks after we receive your balance. Your delivery charges include set up in your home and insurance on all pieces. You must be accommodating to the delivery service when they call to schedule delivery. Damages must be returned at time of delivery. Minor servicing can be performed in the home but we will not be responsible for any replacement of merchandise that is accepted and left in your home. Our in home delivery service does not move furniture to make room for your delivery. You should have room cleared and a clear path before they arrive. Please do not include delivery fees with order. They are due upon arrival at your home.
